Ah, the wonderful world of Cable.
Got my cable installed yesterday by the wonderful people at Comcast. It took 3 people to run two coax cables --one to the tv, the other to the computer-- and troubleshoot an easy problem with the cable serving my apartment. No wonder they wanted installation fees. [Note: You can haggle with them on the installation fees]
Anyway, I started playing with the cable service. I got DTV, so I get extra channels and the on-demand thing. I definitely have more channels/selections than what I had with TimeWarner - I had DTV there as well-, but the Comcast interface is just completely horrible.
I miss my Time Warner cable.

- The guide system loads each page quite slowly.
- It is cumbersome to see when shows end, and what are going to be shown in the coming hours.
- Advertisements on the screen -- don't we pay enough for the service?
I miss my Time Warner cable.
